Thread Tension Gauge

The perfect tool to make sure that the bobbin tension and upper thread on all your needles is set to the right tension. This helps to eliminate the thread breaks, looping and bird’s nests that can happen from incorrect thread tension. This is a simple to use tool that includes instructions.

Pull a length of thread out at the needle and tie it to the hook on the tension gauge.
Pull slowly on the tension gauge and adjust your lower tension knob slowly till you get the tension you want on the scale of the tension gauge.

Polyester - 100-150 grams
Rayon - 100-130 grams

Bobbin Tension:

25 grams
